Embrace..!!

“I am an insensate stone in the wilderness,
whipped by fierce wind and torrential rain,
so cold that no one dares touch me.
But my love is solid and sharp,
capable of piercing through any obstacle.
Even if I were crushed into powder,
I would still use my ashes to embrace you.”

- Liu Xiaobo -

Ego Is Touchy..!

Only the ego can be touched. It is very touchy. If somebody just looks at you in a certain way, it is touched. He has not done anything. If somebody smiles a little, it is touched; if somebody just turns his head and does not look at you, it is touched. It is very touchy. It is like a wound, always open, green. You touch it and the pain arises. A single word, a single gesture — the other may not even be aware of what he has done to you, but he has touched it.

And you always think the other is responsible, that he has wounded you. No, you carry your wound. With the ego your whole being is a wound. And you carry it around. Nobody is interested in hurting you, nobody is positively waiting to hurt you; everybody is engaged in safeguarding his own wound. Who has got the energy? But still it happens, because you are so ready to be wounded, so ready, just waiting on the brink for anything.

Be Like A Mirror..!

“Let go of your worries
and be completely clear-hearted,
like the face of a mirror
that contains no images.
If you want a clear mirror,
behold yourself
and see the shameless truth,
which the mirror reflects.
If metal can be polished
to a mirror-like finish,
what polishing might
the mirror of the heart require?
Between the mirror and the heart
is this single difference:
the heart conceals secrets,
while the mirror does not.”
...Rumi...

Words...!

Inside us lies a web of words, a true representative of our thoughts, loaded with unlimited emotions and feelings that are often spoken, unspoken, expressed, repressed. Words remain unsaid, sigh with burden. Unkind words act as knife and wound a heart with insensitive sharpness. Words use with upmost care and love sooth a heart and act as elixir...

Pride & Ego..!!

Pride is not ego. Ego is something without content. For example, a man who cannot even draw a straight line thinks himself a great painter – that is ego, there is no content. But if Picasso thinks he is a great painter, that is simply a fact, and if he is proud of his genius there is nothing wrong in it. In fact, people should be helped to find some pride in their individuality because that pride will make their eyes shine, their faces luminous; that pride will make them unique individuals, with no more question of inferiority and superiority.

The man of pride has a deep feeling of gratitude that existence has chosen him and it came from beyond, although he is not worthy. It is a strange phenomenon. The more worthy you are, the more you feel you are not worthy enough. You have been given so much and you cannot do anything in return. You are the blessed. But your blessedness will be full of gratitude. That is the distinction to be remembered between ego and pride.

Destroy the ego and create the pride. Ego is something like a cancer that simply eats you.Pride, self-respect is a creative phenomenon. It fulfills your own potential and it also shares with the world all the treasures that you have brought into the world.

I Wish..!!

I wish...I could lie down on a grassy field wrapped in solitude and pastoral bliss. Hear my own heartbeats. Feel the cold breeze on my face. Look into the wide eyes of the blue expanse and say here i come with my arms flung wide open. See the vast blue stare back at me silently and shamelessly. Watch the sky turn from blue to crimson to ebony. Let the darkness snatch me away from the summer light and seduce me by sprinkling millions of diamonds in the sky. Let the moon come out of its hiding and play hide and seek with me. Let him bathe me with his silvery presence turning me into princess of the night. Let the singers of the night sing their songs and put me to sleep in the nature's lap...

Amavasya (No Moon)...!

Amavasya means no moon day or new moon day. Whenever something or somebody becomes absent, through that absence, their presence always becomes more powerful. If you had a friend or a loved one who was with you, you never felt their presence so much. But the moment they disappear, you feel their presence so much – it is so powerful, isn’t it? Even on the emotional level, it is true. You do not really feel their presence when they are around. Only when they are gone, the vacuum that they have left behind has become more powerful than their presence itself. Similarly with the moon, her absence makes her more present than ever before. On any other day, even the Pournami, she is there, but on Amavasya, the presence is felt even more – that quality is even more.

Formation Of Soulmates....!

"if, in the beginning, there were so few people on the face of the earth, and now there are so many, where did all those new souls come from?"

The answer is simple. In certain reincarnations, we divide into two. Our souls divide as do crystals and start, cells and plants."

Our soul divides into two, and those souls are in turn transformed into two and so, within a few generations, we are scattered over a large part of the earth.

We form part of what the Alchemists call the Anima Mundi, the soul of the world; the truth is that if the Anima Mundi were merely to keep dividing, it would keep growing, but it would also become gradually weaker. That is why, as well as dividing into two, we also find ourselves. And the process of finding ourselves is called love. Because when a soul divides, it always divides into a male part and a female part.

In each life, we feel a mysterious obligation to find at least one of those soul mates. The greater love that seperated them feels pleased with the Love that brings them together again.

But how will i know who my soul mate is?

By taking risks. By rising failure, disappointment, disillusion, but never ceasing in your search for love. As long as you keep looking, you will triumph in the end."

-Paulo Coelho (Brida)-

Brida..!!

"Brida’s eyes filled with tears. She was proud of her Soulmate.

That is what the forest taught me. That you will never be mine, and that is why I will never lose you. You were my hope during my days of loneliness, my anxiety during moments of doubt, my certainty during moments of faith.

Knowing that my Soulmate would come one day, I devoted myself to learning the Tradition of the Sun. Knowing that you existed was my one reason for continuing to live.’

Brida could no longer conceal her tears.

Then you came, and I understood all of this. You came to free me from the slavery I myself had created, to tell me that I was free to return to the world and to the things of the world. I understood everything I needed to know, and I love you more than all the women I have ever known, more than I loved the woman who, quite unwittingly, exiled me to the forest. I will always remember now that love is liberty. That was the lesson it took me so many years to learn. That is the lesson that sent me into exile and now sets me free again.’

I will always remember you, and you will remember me, just as we will remember the evening, the rain on the windows, and all the things we’ll always have because we cannot possess them."

Emotions Dissected..!

We all know 'Emotions' are a tricky aspect of being human. They are the language of the soul; subtle, elusive and cryptic. Often they defy the rationality of the mind and the logic of our society. While at times this can be scary and confusing we need to learn to embrace our emotions because they are the key to our happiness and understanding ourselves fully.

Dr Elisabeth Kubler-Ross defined 5 natural emotions as Grief, Anger, Envy, Fear and Love. In these 5 emotions , one emotion we can feel it as postive & rest are negative emotions. Infact no emotions are good/ bad or positive or negative.

When you scratch the surface to explore the full depth and purpose of these emotions, you might just come to see them a little more clearly for what they are - beautiful tools for cultivating one’s personal development. After all, it is the repression of these emotions that produces the negative consequences we often wrongly associate to them. When we explore this underworld of emotions we can see, we often supress these natural emotions and make it harmful for us. So it is important to understand these emotions and its bad effects to safegaurd our well being.

'GRIEF' when we supressed becomes chronic 'DEPRESSION' , likewise 'ANGER' becomes 'RAGE', 'ENVY' becomes 'JEALOUSY', 'FEAR' becomes 'PANIC', 'LOVE' becomes 'POSSESSIVENESS'..

 Happy & Peaceful moments...!!

Soul Search..!

I am quiet and still and wide awake as I am now.. rain is pouring, moon is hiding, breeze playing with my hair and water spraying droplets on my face..clouds taking my heart across continents and oceans to places which are utterly foreign to me. My sigh eagerly longs to encounter with a soul in this wide world who could reflect my truth without effort and consume me without any pretense..

Teary Raindrops....

I lost in my huanted silence,
My sigh of wings give wind,

To my enfolding desperation,
I flew in the haven of night,

To wander under depth of sky..
Never to fall as 'Teary Raindrops'..!

Feelings Unfold..

Dormant feelings uncurl
with monsoon breeze...
It drenches, flows

with each raindrops...
It tooks away all that

refuses to belong..

Unborn Poetry...

In the shadow of annoyance,
incessant flow of imaginations,
drifts in the stream of moments.,

It awaits to get captured by words,
to perch upon the wings of poetry,
and get immortalised in the hearts..!
