Thirty-four-year-old oncologist Dr Krishna Reddy recalls how as a 23-yearold intern at a Coimbatore hospital he’d developed a ‘surreal intimacy’ with his first patient — an 18-year-old cancer patient Malati. “The pain of being unable to save her lasted till I resorted to past life regression which revealed that in my second life I was a woman whose daughter was brutally murdered.
